08:30 After an early breakfast ,you are picked up from your Arua hotel ,depart for Murchison Falls National park via Nebbi and Pakwach towns with a stop over to pick up fresh fruit ,crafts and pottery at the roadside stalls .Make your entry into the park via Tangi Gate and game drive as you transfer to your appointed lodge for Check in and lunch.

2:00PM After lunch you are dropped off at Paraa for a memorable launch trip to to the base of the Falls. The three hour return journey is for many a highlight of a trip to Murchison. Along the river encounter several hippos, enormous crocodiles, amazing bird life a possible sighting of the rare shoebill. Return downstream and transfer back to your lodge.

Arrange an early dinner before you go for a guided Night Game Drive.

The Nocturnal Game Drive is about two hours in length and it takes place at dusk or after darkness has set in. Using spotlights, Encounter nocturnal predators of the night out on the prowl such as Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, birdlife including the amazing Night Jar.Return to your lodge Overnight

After breakfast ,check out and depart for Kidepo Valley National Park , game drive en route. Have a coffee break in Gulu Town. Gulu is the largest town in Northern Uganda. It serves as an excellent stop over en route to Kidepo . There is a wide choice of restaurants serving traditional Ugandan cuisine options on offer. This rapidly developing town is abuzz with Non Governmental Organisations, new shops and cafes, and an influx of volunteer tourists. Visit Bakers Fort, Patiko en route to Kidepo ,a 19th Century relic of colonial scramble where British Explorer Sir Samuel Baker set up a garrison in 1872.

Drive through stunning landscape and scenery via Kitgum and Pader before you make your entry into , Ugandas best kept secret, Kidepo Valley National Park. The park stretches across broad swathes of savannah studded with hills and rock clusters, and is traversed by the forest-flanked Lorupei River. Game drive as you transfer to your appointed lodge for dinner & overnight .

After an early breakfast options include hikes through the Katarum or Game Drives through Narus Valley . The park is home to roughly 80 mammal species, 28 of which are found at no other park in the country, and is particularly well known for its rich population of raptors and over 450 species of bird. Visitors can look forward to excellent wildlife sightings including greater and lesser kudu, eland, lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and a variety of plains game.

Afternoon options include a visit to Karenga Village to experience the culture of the Karimojong tribe.

A whole day option can be arranged on request to visit the Ik tribe, an isolated community neighbouring the Turkana of Kenya .

The Ik are traditionally a hunter gatherer tribe of about 10,000 people whose livelihood diminished in the 1960’s once their land was declared a National Park Located in a small area of Kotido district in Uganda. They are most famous locally for the use of wild honey reserves, which they sell for a small income.They only recently got representation in Parliament.
